Kemptville District Hospital is actively seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. Candidates should be graduates from accredited programs with a preference for those experienced in sterile compounding and hospital settings. This position allows for ample cross-training and opportunities for professional engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with dispensing medications and patient care
• Participate in purchasing and inventory control processes
• Conduct sterile compounding as needed
• Support pharmacy operations effectively
• Attend regular training and team meetings
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician course
• Certification with the College of Pharmacists
• Preferred familiarity with Omnicell and sterile compounding
• Previous experience in a hospital is beneficial
• Required immunizations must be documented
