Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences seeks a Pharmacy Technician for its Pharmacy Department. You will provide technical assistance across drug distribution and inventory control within a tertiary care mental health facility. The position supports professional pharmacy services for inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance across all drug distribution activities
Support pharmacy inventory control and maintenance
Assist professional services for inpatients and outpatients
Provide technical guidance and training when required
Precept students as applicable within the department
Requirements:
Registered Pharmacy Technician licensed with Ontario College of Pharmacists
Knowledge of pharmacy jurisprudence and drug schedules
Experience with hospital drug distribution systems
Experience maintaining and controlling drug inventory
Competence in pharmaceutical calculations and fundamentals
Bring hospital pharmacy knowledge, technical precision, and communication skills to Ontario Shores’ Pharmacy Department in Whitby.
