Computer Network Technician

Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and qualified candidate to join our growing team in Oshawa as a Computer Network Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing remote and onsite technical troubleshooting for our clients. Starting salary will be negotiable and commensurate with experience.

• Install and troubleshoot operating systems, network systems, software, and hardware
• Monitor system operations to detect potential problems
• Travel to client sites to complete onsite technical troubleshooting
• Build and maintain a strong rapport with our clients
• Assist in updating and maintaining technical knowledge base
• Work rotating on-call evening and weekend shifts

• University and/or college accreditation in Computer Systems Networking, Computer Systems Technician, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years experience in a client-facing technical services role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Must have valid driver’s license and a vehicle
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
