Position: Buyer for Nuclear Power Procurement
Location: Bowmanville

Be a key player in nuclear construction as a Buyer. Negotiate and procure essential commodities and services while ensuring compliance with procurement processes for maximum efficiency.

This position, under the guidance of the Procurement Manager, emphasizes critical purchasing for nuclear projects. Responsibilities include soliciting vendor pricing, verifying documentation accuracy, and preparing RFQ/RFPs. You will lead procurement strategies and support major contract negotiations while working closely with project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solicit and negotiate vendor pricing for services and materials

• Ensure requisitions comply with quality standards

• Prepare and issue RFQs to qualified vendors

• Assist managers in creating detailed procurement strategies

• Ensure timely delivery of materials for nuclear projects

Requirements:

• 5+ years in nuclear procurement, or 8+ in conventional

• Strong knowledge of nuclear standards is an asset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Excellent negotiation and time-management skills

• Valid driver’s license required
