This role is a key part of the purchasing team at Linamar, focused on the procurement of MRO and consumable purchases. You will participate in contract negotiations, assess product quality, and identify new suppliers while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Your growth will prepare you for possible advancement in corporate or plant-level operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support contract negotiations and renewals
• Identify and assess potential new supplier sources
• Conduct benchmarking of purchases globally
• Aid in supplier crisis management and communication
• Review purchase orders for contract accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Strong communication skills with suppliers
• Proficient in ERP systems and spreadsheets
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Capacity to work both independently and in teams
