This position involves working closely with the Procurement Manager overseeing purchases vital to the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. You’ll navigate the procurement lifecycle by managing supplier negotiations, contract awards, and material logistics, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete procurement lifecycle from start to finish
• Secure competitive bids and negotiate contracts
• Review procurement documentation for accuracy
• Coordinate deliveries and manage logistics on-site
• Ensure quality and reliability meet operational expectations
Requirements:
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in procurement
• Educational completion in operations management is desirable
• Background in PMAC accreditation is a plus
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Must meet all nuclear industry regulations
