Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, tray stations, and high‑touch surfaces
Sweep, mop, and maintain safe, dry floors throughout the shift
Collect, wash, sanitize, and restock trays
Empty, clean, and disinfect waste, recycling, organics, and paper bins
Perform accurate waste sorting and follow all recycling and contamination‑control procedures
Safely transport waste to compactors (push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs)
Maintain professionalism and provide courteous customer service
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic environment
Must follow all GDI safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational standards
Participation in union site requirements (UFCW Local 175)
60‑shift probation period as outlined in the Collective Agreement
Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
