Part-Time Maintenance Helper Uxbridge

Location: Uxbridge

Become part of Reachview Village LTC in Uxbridge, ON as a part-time Maintenance Helper. This role focuses on general maintenance and ensuring safety and functionality across the facility.

Reporting to the Environmental Service Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing resident experiences through maintenance. This part-time position requires you to work three days a week, including rotating weekends, ensuring facility upkeep through minor repairs and cleaning. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow Preventive Maintenance and Demand Maintenance Programs

• Perform various maintenance tasks regularly

• Complete necessary repairs like painting and plumbing

• Inspect mechanical and Life Safety equipment

• Prepare regular maintenance reports

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and English proficiency

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, or painting

• Knowledge of WHMIS and OH & S policies

• High School Diploma required

• A negative vulnerable sector check needed
