Part Time Facility Operator in Clarington

Join the Municipality of Clarington as a part time Facility Operator. Take charge of operations and maintenance at community recreation facilities, ensuring a high standard of service.

This role reports to the Facility Supervisor and involves managing daily operations across municipal recreation facilities. You will guide part-time staff, ensure pool and ice maintenance, and uphold cleanliness standards. Previous experience in facility operations is an asset, as is a solid understanding of equipment maintenance and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance tasks

• Monitor pool and arena equipment compliance

• Maintain ice surfaces and pool water quality

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs

• Conduct seasonal maintenance, including snow removal

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Secondary School education minimum

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class “G”

• Standard First Aid and CPR “C” certification

• General knowledge of maintenance procedures

• WHMIS certification is an asset
