Location: Clarington
Support the Municipality of Clarington as a Facility Attendant, crucial for maintaining the operation of recreational spaces. This front-line position emphasizes custodial duties, safety, and customer interaction.
In this role, you will assist our full-time staff by taking on cleaning and maintenance responsibilities across various recreation facilities. Your contribution ensures a clean and functional environment for community programs and events, underscoring our commitment to customer service and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain all facility areas and surfaces
• Set up and dismantle room layouts for events
• Monitor conditions and report any maintenance issues
• Provide friendly customer service to the public
• Safely operate cleaning equipment as per guidelines
Requirements:
• Must have a Grade 12 Secondary School education
• Hands-on experience in custodial maintenance
• Current First Aid and CPR certs are assets
• Knowledge of WHMIS and safe equipment operation
• Must be physically able to perform job duties
