GFL is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to manage daily schedules and optimize resource use. This role involves liaising between operations and maintenance teams for effective fleet management.
As a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, you will support scheduling and manage communication between operations staff and maintenance. Your responsibilities include coordinating equipment repairs, distributing operational schedules, and processing work orders. Following health and safety regulations while maintaining a zero-harm environment is essential to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create daily maintenance schedules
• Coordinate repairs with mechanics and third-party services
• Support and manage work order processes
• Liaise between operations and maintenance staff
• Identify resource optimization opportunities
Requirements:
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Organizational skills for operational flow
• Experience with unionized work forces is an asset
• Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and dispatching
• Valid work authorization in Canada required
