The Town of Whitby is hiring a Temporary Facilities Attendant. Play a key role in maintaining our community facilities in a flexible and inclusive work environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for the upkeep and management of various facilities throughout Whitby. Your expertise will help promote a positive workplace culture while engaging directly with community members. By fostering relationships and ensuring cleanliness and functionality, you will support our mission to serve our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of facilities
• Set up spaces for meetings and events as needed
• Assist with public inquiries and provide training to staff
• Monitor supplies and manage equipment maintenance
• Document administrative activities and perform building checks
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education with relevant courses
• At least 12 months of experience in facility operations
• Must hold a valid Class G Driver's Licence
