Join Manulife as the Operational Risk Manager in a hybrid role in Waterloo, Ontario. Provide strategic risk leadership and foster a culture of strong operational governance.
This pivotal role requires a seasoned risk management professional to oversee the execution of the Operational Risk Management Framework. You'll partner closely with business leaders to assess risks, ensure effective controls, and implement quality management programs. Developing a team of experts will also be key in delivering robust governance across Retirement Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide a team in operational risk governance
• Execute Risk and Control Self-Assessments and governance reporting
• Maintain oversight of the SOC1 program and control deficiencies
• Create effective remediation plans for identified risks
• Present risk analysis and insights to senior leadership
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of experience in risk management or internal controls
• Proficiency in English and French in Quebec
• Expertise in audit activities and corrective action plans
• Strong analytical skills and stakeholder collaboration
• Knowledge of quality management practices
