Location: Bowmanville

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components according to engineered specifications for our client in Bowmanville, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with strong technical skills, the ability to read complex blueprints, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Pay Rate: $24.33 - 30.42/our (based on experience)
  • Location: Bowmanville, ON
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday | 4:00 pm to 2:30 am

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to complete rough-to-finish machining operations following engineering blueprints and specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and apply engineered drawings to ensure accuracy, proper tolerances, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product dimensions and conformance to requirements.
  • Identify machining, tooling, or material issues and troubleshoot effectively to maintain production flow.
  • Recommend improvements related to machining processes, tooling, or workflow to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in areas such as procedures, safety, quality, and production output.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Formal machinist training such as an apprenticeship, diploma, or equivalent technical education.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, technical documentation, and machining instructions.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods during machine operation.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
