Location: BowmanvilleAbout us:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and repair of our pallet manufacturing equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on heavy equipment experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
What you will do:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pallet manufacturing equipment and heavy machineryTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issuesMaintain and repair forklifts, loaders, saws, conveyors, and other production equipmentConduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment safetyComplete maintenance logs and work orders accuratelyCoordinate with production team to minimize downtime and maintain workflowEnsure compliance with health and safety standards and company policiesAssist Maintenance staff with general facility maintenance as requiredWhat you require:
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environmentMandatory: Hands-on experience with heavy equipment (forklifts, loaders, or similar machinery)Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsBasic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systemsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksValid forklift license or willingness to obtain oneSchedule
Part-time hours (flexible schedule; days and times to be discussed)Potential for additional hours based on operational needsWhat We Offer:
