Pay Rate:  $22.00 - 23.00/hr.

Our client, a leading distributor of food-grade products, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety and quality standards.

Job Duties

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production, warehouse, and common areas in accordance with food safety standards.

Clean and disinfect equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and work surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and equipment.

Follow sanitation schedules and documented cleaning procedures.

Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.

Remove waste, recyclables, and other materials from designated areas.

Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.

Report any maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Support quality assurance and food safety initiatives, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Maintain accurate sanitation records and complete required documentation.

Job Requirements

Previous cleaning experience preferably within a food graded facility

Ability to walk, stand and bend within a large facility

Previous experience with industrial cleaning machines

Reliable transportation (no bus route)
