RIM Process Technician

Job Responsibilities

Provides support to production and troubleshoots quality issues from a process standpoint.

Completes first off process.

Starts and shuts down press operation as required.

Answers to downtime and cycle deficiencies in DDC.

Calls in support from appropriate resources as required (maintenance, Andon, Team Leaders).

Reports out master inaccuracies.

Reports ongoing issues to Process and Production Team Leaders.

Attends Process Team meetings when required.

Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful, and environmentally conscious manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Immediate, open position.

$35.58 - $39.59 per hour.

Minimum one‑year previous experience in a fast‑paced production environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of some post‑secondary education in a technical field preferred.

Previous experience entering & manipulating data in Microsoft Excel.

Practical experience setting up Decoupled Molding processes with TPO, ABS, PC ABS and ASA assets.

Towmotor & crane license, RJG systematic certified or similar course; RGJ Mold an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to rotate between jobs as required.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Must be quality‑minded, safety‑conscious and reliable.
