Our client, a leading meat processing company, is seeking Production Associates to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Production and Packaging Teams. Job Title:Production Associate
Location:Whitby
Pay Range:$18.00
What’s the Job?
- Handle and process raw meat products in a refrigerated production environment.
- Package, label, and prepare products for distribution while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform general production duties, including sorting, trimming, and inspecting products.
- Work various shifts, including early morning starts as early as 5:30 AM, and overtime as required.
What’s Needed?
- Ability to work in a cold environment handling raw meat products for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends when required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety practices.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to starting employment.
