Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse Port Perry

Location: Port Perry

Enhance healthcare at Port Perry Place as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse. You'll provide exemplary resident care during evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm while adhering to nursing standards.

As an RPN at Southbridge Care Homes, you will report to the Director of Care and engage in effective nursing practices according to established standards. Key responsibilities include assessing resident needs, developing care plans, and supervising nursing staff.

Your role is critical to maintaining quality healthcare and ensuring residents receive comprehensive support and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care aligned with nursing standards and policies

• Assess and implement individualized resident care plans

• Organize restorative and palliative care as needed

• Supervise and evaluate nursing and personal care staff

• Train new personnel and conduct performance appraisals

Requirements:

• Current certificate of competence from College of Nurses

• Passion for caring for seniors and teamwork

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Completed vulnerable sector check and TB test
