Night Shift Registered Nurse - Birthing Suites

Contribute to Northumberland Hills Hospital’s mission as a night shift Registered Nurse in the Birthing Suites, providing care for mothers and newborns. This part-time role emphasizes patient-centric practices and teamwork.

Working at NHH, you will engage in various aspects of patient care throughout antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. This position requires at least two years of recent clinical nursing experience and familiarity with critical care protocols to support mothers and infants effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in the antenatal to postpartum continuum

• Support laboring patients and newborns

• Implement neonatal resuscitation and monitoring protocols

• Interface with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Keep accurate healthcare documentation

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Two years of recent clinical experience necessary

• Current B.C.L.S Certification required

• Knowledgeable in obstetrics and neonatal care

• Familiarity with EPIC Clinical Information System an asset
