Join Lakeridge Health as a Temporary Part Time Registered Practical Nurse in Bowmanville. Your nursing expertise will support patients in the Healthy Aging program across various shifts.
In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for stabilized patients. You will administer treatments, adhere to infection control principles, and perform additional duties as needed. Your experience in a Continuing Care Unit will enhance patient outcomes in this diverse and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans
• Administer treatments as ordered by physicians
• Observe and enforce infection control measures
• Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during care
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing
• Current B.C.L.S. certification
• Experience in Continuing Care settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
