Addiction-Focused Registered Nurse Position

As a key member of the Addictions program, you'll provide hands-on nursing care and collaborate with various healthcare professionals. Your experience in addiction psychiatry and leadership will bolster your ability to guide and mentor others while achieving successful treatment outcomes alongside patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in a therapeutic environment
• Join team meetings to discuss patient care
• Mentor staff in your capacity as Charge Nurse
• Perform clinical assessments during admissions
• Administer medications following established protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse license with the CNO
• Over 2 years of experience with addiction patients
• Familiarity with the Mental Health Act
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Knowledge of CBT/DBT methodologies is advantageous
