This role places you at the forefront of patient care within the Addictions program, where you will collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals. If you have a background in addiction psychiatry and leadership experience, you will fit well into our dynamic, people-centered setting. Engage with patients and contribute to successful treatment outcomes effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care in a supportive therapeutic environment
- Participate in team meetings and patient care discussions
- Direct and mentor team members as Charge Nurse
- Conduct clinical assessments upon patient admission
- Administer medications under established protocols
- Registered Nurse licensed with the CNO
- 2+ years experience with addiction patients
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Strong clinical judgment and communication abilities
- Familiarity with CBT/DBT methodologies is an asset
