Emergency Registered Practical Nurse

Lakeridge Health is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for Temporary Part-Time shifts in Emergency Services s role involves patient care, vital sign monitoring, and medical equipment setup.

The Registered Practical Nurse will report to the Manager of Emergency Services, assessing and implementing nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment. Key qualifications include 1-2 years of Med/Surg or Emergency experience, current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care activities

• Monitor vital signs and perform physical assessments

• Manage IV access and assist with medical equipment setup

• Complete documentation as per nursing standards

• Provide compassionate care in a diverse community setting

Requirements:

• Current RPN certification with College of Nurses Ontario

• 1-2 years Med/Surg or Emergency experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Competent in CPR performance

• Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
