Overview
Support vulnerable populations as a casual Registered Practical Nurse eph's Health Centre Guelph. Deliver essential nursing care, focusing on medication management and assisting daily living activities. This role provides support for both Adult Day and Overnight Stay programs. You will engage with frail elderly and cognitively impaired clients, ensuring their well-being through cutting-edge social activities. Your collaboration with clinical teams will help maintain a protected care workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and document responses
- Assist clients with day-to-day living activities
- Facilitate recreational therapy engagements
- Record incidents and care interventions
- Monitor clients and provide necessary support
- Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Current CPR certification required
- Preferred qualifications include a Geriatric Certificate
- Experience working with mentally impaired individuals
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
