Schedule:
work 12‑hour evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays. Schedules may change based on operational needs. Upon full training, role may shift to days/nights.
Contract:
Part‑time temporary until approx May 2025.
Compensation: BAND UONA 01: $ per hour.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, you will be an integral member of the interprofessional team responsible for providing compassionate, patient and family‑centered emergency care. You will complete required courses with support from the Skilled Practice Leader during a supportive orientation to Emergency.
RequirementsEducation:
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses. Current BCLS and ACLS. RNAO membership preferred; ENPC certification preferred or willingness to complete within 6 months.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years acute‑care nursing experience.
Skills:
- Excellent physical assessment skills.
- Proficient computer skills.

- Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team.
- Well‑developed organization, communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
