Ontario Shores is seeking an RPN to support patients with complex mental health needs. You will be integral to our Forensic Assessment and Rehabilitation Unit, ensuring a recovery-focused approach. The role may require flexibility to serve across different units based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized care using a recovery-focused model

• Collaborate as a vital member of the interprofessional team

• Conduct assessments and document care needs accurately

• Implement the Recovery philosophy in patient care

• Enhance therapeutic relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current CPR certification as a Health Care Provider

• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and relevant legislation

• Proven team collaboration skills

• Recent psychiatric nursing or forensic experience preferred
