As a vital member of the JCHWC Post Anesthesia Care Unit, your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients. You'll utilize advanced nursing practices, multitasking skills, and excellent observation to monitor patients while recovering from various anesthesia types. Your flexibility will be key as you transition throughout the unit to ensure a well-managed patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient nursing care

• Implement family-centered care strategies

• Monitor post-operative patients after anesthesia

• Support timely patient discharge and safety

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Current Ontario Registration with the College of Nurses

• BCLS & ACLS certifications required

• Recent PACU experience preferred

• Critical care certification is advantageous

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
