Lakeridge Health seeks a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse for the OC5 Acute ISU department. Applicants should be registered and hold a diploma from an accredited institution. Your main duties will involve assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and maintaining safe clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions
• Implement prescribed treatment plans effectively
• Observe strict infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Assist in patient transfers using safe methods
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current B.C.L.S. certification and Medication Certificate
• Experience in a Continuing Care setting
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and turn patients manually
