As a vital member of Southbridge Care Homes, you will administer medications, conduct health assessments, and develop individualized care plans. You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring compliance with the College of Nurses of Ontario and Southbridge Care Homes’ standards while maintaining high-quality nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care in line with nursing and administrative policies
• Develop and evaluate comprehensive resident care plans
• Supervise restorative and palliative care activities
• Manage and support the nursing team on your unit
• Facilitate the onboarding and training of new staff members
Requirements:
• Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Registration or eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
• First Aid and BLS certifications current
• Knowledge of health care practices and infection control
• Communication skills that promote teamwork and independence
