Registered Nurse - Lakeridge Health

Join Lakeridge Health as a Registered Nurse in the Acute Medicine department. This temporary full-time role is designed for those passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment.

You will be responsible for applying nursing processes to deliver effective patient care, ensuring adherence to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. In this role, you will assess patient conditions, support medical decisions, and enhance documentation accuracy. Additionally, there's emphasis on teaching and supervising Personal Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient health conditions

• Assist in clinical documentation and quality improvement

• Mentor and supervise Personal Support Workers

• Lead patient care initiatives and collaboration

• Stay updated with nursing practice standards

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with Ontario's nursing board

• Experience in Acute Medicine is advantageous

• Current B.C.L.S. certification required

• Strong assessment skills and communication proficiency

• Ability to handle emergency situations with professionalism
