Join the dedicated Crisis Intervention Team at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, where you will provide trauma-informed psychiatric care to patients facing mental health challenges. Ideal candidates will have three years of acute psychiatric nursing experience and the ability to conduct compassionate assessments. Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in crisis intervention team assessments
• Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients
• Maintain accurate nursing records and competence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Utilize community mental health resources effectively
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years of psychiatric nursing experience
• BScN degree required
• Completion of Crisis Prevention Training within 1 month
• Current BCLS certification needed
