Position: Dedicated Registered Practical Nurse for Vital Patient Care Services
Location: Port Perry

Make a difference as a Registered Practical Nurse focusing on individualized patient care in a rewarding environment. This role includes monitoring IVs, administering medications, and engaging in collaborative healthcare practices.

You will work in the Healthy Aging program across various settings, ensuring the highest standard of care for patients. Responsibilities include conducting physical assessments, maintaining health records, and providing vital education to patients and families. Your proactive approach to patient care will contribute significantly to overall patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical assessments and patient care tasks

• Administer medications and IV therapies

• Engage in patient education and expected outcomes

• Keep detailed health records and documentation

• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Active nursing registration with the College of Nurses

• Diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized college

• Recent experience in medical-surgical nursing required

• Certification in B.C.L.S. and ability to enroll in Coronary Care I

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
