Lakeridge Health is building a pool for future Registered Nurses with expertise in the Operating Room. As a nurse, your responsibilities will include providing care in a sterile environment and maintaining equipment. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills along with a commitment to best practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care to unconscious patients in surgery
• Maintain specialized surgical instruments for procedures
• Use nursing processes for effective patient management
• Document nursing care accurately and efficiently
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary health teams
Requirements:
• Good standing with the Ontario Nurses Association
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Completion of a postgraduate operating course
• Experience in emergency response methods
• Proven ability to lift and assist patients safely
