Critical Care Registered Nurse

Deliver critical care nursing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa using ventilator monitoring, haemodynamic assessment, and emergency response skills. This is temporary full time.
The Registered Nurse serves in the ICU/CCU within the Critical Care program for an 18-month temporary assignment. You will use the nursing process, participate in the multidisciplinary care team, maintain nursing records, and perform related duties. Current B.C.L.S., College of Nurses of Ontario registration, and critical care or acute care experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient care using the nursing process
Participate as a multidisciplinary care team member
Maintain competence and professionalism in current practice
Maintain accurate nursing records
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Complete a Critical Care Nursing Certificate
Hold College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Maintain current B.C.L.S. certification
Demonstrate ventilator and haemodynamic monitoring skills
Interpret EKGs and respond appropriately during emergencies
Bring critical care experience, clinical judgment, and patient-focused nursing practice to the ICU/CCU team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
