Deliver resident-centred nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at The Village of Taunton Mills in Retirement. Apply medication safely and accurately.
Schlegel Villages seeks a Registered Practical Nurse to support residents through personalized care and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will administer medications and treatments, follow care plans, and report changes in resident well-being. The role also includes updating care plans, supporting transfers, and collaborating with the Neighbourhood Physician during weekly rounds.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Follow care plans and report resident changes
- Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
- Support resident move-ins and hospital transfers
- Update care plans after physician rounds
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Existing Heart Save Level of CPR
- Proficient communication and computer skills
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and Tuberculosis screening
- Understanding of retirement and long-term care regulations
