Mental Health Registered Nurse

Support mental health care as a Registered Nurse at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, using nursing assessment, communication, and psychiatric care expertise. This temporary full-time position includes 12-hour day and night shifts.

Working in Psychiatry General within Mental Health & Addictions, you will provide patient care through the nursing process in a primary nursing environment. You will participate with the Health Care Team and Nursing Team while maintaining professional competence. The position requires accurate nursing records and experience in acute mental health settings.

• Provide patient care using the nursing process

• Maintain competence and current professional practice
• Maintain accurate nursing records

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
• Current BCLS certification
• Minimum two years inpatient mental health or addictions experience
• BScN degree required
• Mental health assessment and communication skills
