What You’ll Be Doing (Yes, Your Office Is Outside)
Spring / Summer / Fall
Using your 2+ years of landscaping experience to keep properties looking sharp and professional
Cutting, trimming, planting, maintaining beds, turf care, and occasional sodding (don’t worry, it’s not every day)
Operating landscaping equipment — mowers, tractors, sod cutters, hedge trimmers, pruning saws (all the fun stuff)
Basic preventative maintenance on equipment (cleaning and greasing = fewer breakdowns = happier everyone)
Driving a truck and trailer safely to and from sites (valid G licence required)
Winter (we don’t lay people off)
Snow clearing and ice management
Operating loaders, skid steers, and plow trucks (training provided for the right candidate)
Salting walkways and keeping sites safe
Early mornings when it snows… and occasionally very early mornings when it really snows (coffee helps)
The Reality of the Job
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Bending, digging, climbing, walking — basically a paid gym membership
Working outdoors in heat, cold, and everything in between
Following safety policies — because going home safe matters more than finishing one more driveway
What You Bring
Minimum 2 years landscaping experience
Valid G Driver’s Licence (required)
Trailer experience is an asset
Reliability (honestly this is huge)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
