About the Role  We are seeking an experienced  Client Services Manager  to join a leading  medical communications agency . This role is responsible for managing pharmaceutical and healthcare client accounts, leading projects from concept through execution, and building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate has  proven experience working within a medical communications agency  and understands the unique requirements of pharmaceutical marketing, medical education, regulatory review, and healthcare communications.
Previous experience in a medical communications agency is a MUST.

Key Responsibilities   Manage a portfolio of pharmaceutical client accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong, long‑term relationships.
Provide strategic and tactical guidance to clients on medical communications and marketing initiatives.
Lead projects from initial concept through development, execution, and final delivery.
Develop and manage project timelines, critical paths, budgets, deliverables, and resources.
Coordinate cross‑functional internal teams, including medical, creative, editorial, digital, and production teams.
Manage client expectations, identify potential issues, and proactively develop solutions.
Provide strategic input into program development and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
Review project scope and budgets to ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
Support the development of pharmaceutical marketing, medical education, and healthcare communication programs.
Manage live events and related logistics, including travel within Canada and the U.S. when required.
Ensure projects meet applicable pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Work with regulatory bodies and review processes, including  PAAB, CFPC, RCPSC , and other relevant organizations.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards.
Stay current with pharmaceutical industry trends, guidelines, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve project execution and client service.
Qualifications   University degree, preferably in  Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology, Medicine, or a related discipline .
Minimum 3 years of experience in client services, account management, or project management within a medical communications, healthcare communications, or communications agency.
medical/pharmaceutical communications agency experience  to be considered.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Experience managing pharmaceutical clients and multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with medical education, pharmaceutical marketing, promotional communications, or healthcare communications.
Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance requirements;  PAAB experience is highly preferred .
Strong project management, organizational, and time‑management skills.
