Primary Responsibilities Inspection & Verification Incoming:
Inspect and test raw materials, compile evidence for supplier Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
In‑Process:
Audit production lines, verify processing variables, support teams in addressing quality issues.
Finished Products:
Conduct final product tests, review line reports, generate Certificates of Quality (CQ).
Claims:
Inspect returned products, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
Gauge Calibration & Troubleshooting Calibrate measuring devices, electronics, and mechanical gauges on schedule.
Troubleshoot and isolate faulty gauges to prevent defective usage on the floor.
Data Collection & Statistical Analysis Collect, record, and analyze quality data using basic statistical methods, including linear regression.
Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) records to identify process drift and concerning trends.
Root Cause & Continuous Improvement Participate in structured root‑cause investigations to resolve non‑conformities and defects.
Track open internal and supplier corrective actions to completion, verifying long‑term effectiveness.
Assist in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing plant waste and optimizing yields.
Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
Follow Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO guidelines to reduce environmental impacts.
Job Qualifications & Requirements Education :
Minimum of a 2‑ or 3‑year technical diploma from an accredited post‑secondary institution (any technical or engineering discipline).
Experience :
Preferred 1–2years in a manufacturing environment; experience within a dedicated Quality department is highly preferred.
Technical Skills : Proficiency with MS Office, especially MSExcel for recording and charting quality metrics.
Practical understanding of basic mathematics, foundational statistics, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, or blueprints.
Working knowledge of ISO management systems frameworks.
Core Attributes : Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with production personnel during quality disputes.
