Quality Inspector in Mechanical Construction

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector in Darlington, ON, focusing on quality assurance in nuclear projects. Your expertise will enable compliance with mechanical construction standards.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will oversee quality functions on mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes and customer specifications. This mid-level position demands strong skills in inspection, documentation, and collaboration across teams. A combination of experience and technical knowledge will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and generate detailed inspection and test plans

• Document inspection statuses and results thoroughly

• Interpret technical drawings for quality checks

• Verify materials for compliance with codes and standards

• Report any non-conformance issues as needed

Requirements:

• Secondary school education in QA/QC or similar

• 1-3 years’ relevant experience in mechanical roles

• Achieved W178 Level 2 Visual Weld inspection

• Familiar with ASME and nuclear standards

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
