Aecon Nuclear is seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join their team in the Darlington site. This role focuses on generating inspection plans, verifying material compliance, and collaborating with management on quality activities. You will ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols while documenting inspection results effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain mechanical inspection and test plans

• Complete records for inspection statuses and results

• Interpret technical drawings accurately

• Verify material against purchase orders and standards

• Initiate non-conformance reports when necessary

Requirements:

• Secondary school education in QA/QC or related field

• 1-3 years’ mechanical field experience

• W178 Level 2 visual weld inspection certification

• Familiarity with ASME Code and Nuclear/ISO standards

• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication skills
