Join Kiewit Nuclear Solutions as a Civil Quality Control Inspector in Darlington, Ontario, ensuring that all construction meets rigorous quality and safety standards. This full-time position calls for experienced inspectors to uphold compliance in the nuclear sector.
As a mid-level role, you will engage in both in-process and final inspections, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to established procedures. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with project management and implement quality control measures effectively, emphasizing safety and procedural accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections according to the Inspection and Test Plan
• Document statuses and results of inspections
• Collaborate with teams on quality measures
• Initiate and manage non-conformance reports
• Verify equipment calibration for inspections
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years in heavy civil construction
• Solid knowledge of established CSA standards
• ACI/CCIL certification and CSA W178 an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
