Drive quality assurance efforts at Aecon's Darlington New Nuclear Project in Clarington, Ontario. As a Quality Specialist, you'll ensure compliance with standards and manage testing requirements effectively.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will collaborate closely with Project Management, developing quality documentation and Comprehensive Work Packages (CWP's).
Your role is pivotal in creating Construction, Inspection & Test Plans (CITP's) while supporting the site team to uphold stringent quality measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify verification and testing requirements
• Collaborate on Comprehensive Work Packages (CWP’s)
• Develop Inspection, Examination & Testing steps
• Report on quality conditions to managers
• Perform on-site inspections and reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Licenced Journeyman Electrician
• Knowledge of Nuclear Codes & Standards
• Experience with Nondestructive Methods
• Familiarity with project site procedures
• Understanding of Nuclear Safety Culture
