Conduct food safety audits remotely from Canada while traveling up to 85%, using GFSI standards and strong communication skills. Support clients across North America.
Intertek seeks a Food Safety Auditor for its Business Assurance team in 2026. You will assess food safety management systems across manufacturing and services industries. The work includes audits, technical training, consulting, inspections, and written reporting for clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct document reviews, pre-assessments, and facility audits
- Prepare audit plans, reports, and required documentation
- Lead opening and closing meetings with clients
- Present findings and advise on corrective actions
- Provide food safety training and technical support
- Food Science degree from an accredited institution
- Current Food Safety Lead Auditor qualification
- Minimum 140 hours of third-party FSMS auditing
- Two years of relevant food industry experience
- Knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, and CFIA regulations
