This posting is for a one‑off event happening on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The role is only 9 hours long, consisting of 3 hours of training, 1 hour of a pre‑event team call and 5 hours in‑store on the event day. There is potential for future Pet Ambassador work through Royal Canin.

During the event, there is an opportunity to win an extra $200 in a photo contest. Twenty winners will be selected.

Responsibilities

Tidy and face client’s products on shelves and ensure any authorized POS material is set up so pet parents can easily find what they need.

Build and maintain relationships with store associates, store management, and pet parents.

Provide store associates with pet health, nutrition and product knowledge, including benefits and promotions, to help increase recommendations and sales (with guidance from the client and approval from store managers).

Build brand awareness and affinity by actively engaging with pet parents and their pets in‑store and at events.

Delight customers by sharing pet health and nutrition information and making personalized product recommendations for their pets.

Set up demos and displays as required.

Maintain and leverage client‑provided material such as equipment and handouts to engage associates and pet parents.

Support recommendations driving special projects as required.

Qualifications

Be a pet enthusiast who cares about pet health and nutrition.

Have reliable transportation to get to and from multiple stores in the area.

Have a smart device for reporting.

Experience working with pets (preferred, not required).

RVT, AHT, BSc or MSc in the pet field (preferred, not required).

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Must be 18 years or older.
