Student Optician -LensCrafters

Lens Crafters, a global leader in vision care, is looking for a Student Optician to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The Student Optician creates value by performing the key steps of our selling model, developing optical skills of others, and fostering a learning environment.

• Commitment to providing unsurpassed Customer Service
• Assists customers with selections, provides recommendations and educates on adjustment services
• Patient and courteous with indecisive customers; provides answers to questions or products
• Is a leader in optical acumen that provides a voice for associates due to their expertise
• Under the supervision of a Licensed Optician
• Records measurements, adjusts/fits eyewear correctly, ensuring it meets customer needs
• Operates the Point of Sale terminal inputting customer and prescription information with accuracy and attention to detail
• Takes pride in the appearance of the store and visual displays

• Currently enrolled in an Opticianry program
• Optical dispensing experience
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise
• Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of inventory management systems
• Strong communicator and listener
• Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet
• Comfortable with the use of technology to engage patients, customers and associates

• Actively studying Lens Crafters Final Inspector Certification
• Actively studying Lens Crafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program
• Previous experience in customer service and retail

Pay Range: 17.60 - 0.00
