Deliver exemplary customer service as a Walmart Canada Cashier in Port Perry, using careful cash handling and efficient transaction processing.
This Cashier position supports Walmart Canada’s retail operations at 1535 HWY 7A, BLDG A, Port Perry, Ontario. You will greet customers, process purchases, promote sponsor programs, and assist with merchandise bagging and loading. Attention to detail supports loss prevention, register security, and customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet every customer politely and in a friendly manner
- Process purchase transactions efficiently, including EAS deactivation
- Promote credit card, product protection, and charity programs
- Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise
- Maintain register security through diligent cash handling
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to follow relevant company policies
- Ability to maintain a clean work area
- Ability to follow safe lifting practices
- Awareness of surroundings during cashier duties
