In this temporary full-time role, you will offer culturally competent outreach support and resources to vulnerable populations at risk of homelessness or health issues related to Covid-19. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, advocating for clients while integrating culturally appropriate service plans. Your focus will be on wellness, safety, and improving health equity for Indigenous clients throughout the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outreach support for individuals in crisis
• Assist with short-term financial aid for services
• Educate clients about tenant rights and responsibilities
• Collaborate with Indigenous agencies to enhance services
• Maintain detailed records for quality care
Requirements:
• 2-year post-Secondary program in Health/Social Services
• 1-year related experience or equivalent
• Broad knowledge of Indigenous issues and culture
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Flexible schedule availability
Support the health and well-being of Indigenous communities through direct outreach and advocacy in this impactful role.
