We are seeking a motivated  Software Engineer  to join our growing technology team. Reporting to the  Director of Software Engineering , this role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable web and mobile applications that power our operations and support future growth.

What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the IT and product teams to design and develop solutions that enhance business operations and improve system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from scoping requirements to deployment in production

Collaborating with IT team members to define and develop new functionality for web-based systems

Designing and developing scalable web and mobile application features

Maintaining and supporting AWS environments and associated databases

Evaluating project deliverables and ensuring quality, performance, and scalability

Building and maintaining tools to integrate internal systems and databases

Partnering with program managers and business leaders to support project due diligence and successful delivery of Gateway initiatives

Staying current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development practices to continuously improve systems and processes

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

1–3 years of progressive experience developing production web platforms

Experience with backend development and system architecture

Proficiency with technologies including:

Angular

JSON

Cloud development experience, preferably with AWS

Experience developing new applications and contributing to system architecture

Experience working in Agile development environments

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage overlapping projects and priorities

Ability to identify key technical issues and develop creative, strategic solutions

Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and development approaches

Working Conditions
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs
